Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Motor Winder to join our team in Kalamazoo and or Redford, Mi. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical and electrical background, with expertise in winding various types of motors.
Duties
- Perform motor winding and rewinding on a variety of equipment
- Utilize schematics to ensure accurate winding configurations
- Conduct testing to verify the quality of winding work
- Repair and maintain generators, Caterpillar engines, and other motorized equipment
- Solder and insulate wires as necessary
- Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical expertise on motor-related inquiries
Experience
- Previous experience as a Motor Winder or similar role
- Proficiency in mechanical knowledge and electrical systems
- Familiarity with vehicle maintenance and generator repair
- Ability to read and interpret schematics
- Strong attention to detail and precision in winding operations

Looking for a Motor Repair individual near Redford and or Kalamazoo, Mi, that's seeking a long-term career option, with a thriving Motor repair company that was launched in 1959. Duties
- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of equipment
- Conduct routine inspections to identify any potential issues
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems
- Complete repairs in a timely and efficient manner
- Document all work performed accurately
Skills:
- AC DC motor repair: Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing AC DC motors
- Mechanical knowledge: Strong understanding of mechanical systems and components
- Electrical: Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques
- Mechanic: Skilled in general mechanical repairs and maintenance
- Repair and rebuild defective mechanical parts in an electric motor such as generator and related equipment
- Schematics: Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting
